It was because a lot of mages are killed in history, and generally most of Nu Mous are mages who fought in kingdom and faction wars. ➱ They haven't breeded more or less, but they populated Lyonesse a bit less than other races. Their pursue of knowledge is the very main reason of their settlement, and have been helping with magical studies, development, and discoveries ever since. The knowledge that can be obtained in their libraries, academies, and universities are what attracted most nu mous in the old days and was also the main reason why most have settled in both Nesalia and Tarian. They are mostly found in Nesalia and Tarian. Populated places, commonly sighted in the most developed communities and universities. ➱ "Mou" or 'Me', which was self explanatory. "Nu" basically meant as the guardian of the gardens, with the gardens as mother nature and the people who walked among them. Draco represents Ladon, the dragon that guarded the gardens of the Hesperides in Greek mythology. The constellation’s name means “the dragon” in Latin. The player can earn a blue bottle from the fishing minigame in Dalmasca Estersand and bring it to an overturned boat in Echoes of the Past area. These can be used to open sealed areas in the Necrohol of Nabudis. The player must head northwest and search for a hidden path and at the end of the path there is a monument with the nu mou, and the player gets the Medallion of Bravery, Medallion of Love, and the Lustreless Medallion. After giving the first two medallions to the nu mou, the player can return to Nabreus Deadlands and talk to Ma'Kleou. ![]() Visiting Nabreus Deadlands triggers the scene with the nu mou Ma'Kleou, and afterward the player can collect three medallions in Rabanastre and Archades. To fight Chaos in Necrohol of Nabudis the player must complete a sidequest to obtain the appointed keys. Vale of Lingering Sorrow Zodiac Chestįield of the Fallen Lord Zodiac Chest The spell Warp is found " off the map" north of Lifeless Strand. The Cross Scale measure can be found in the Field of the Fallen Lord. The player can also find various ammunition. The Mythril Blade starter weapon that is not available in shops can be found in the Slumbermead, though more of as a curiosity than as a useful weapon to equip. The Zodiac versions have all new treasure coffers, but still keeping with the theme of consumable items. The treasure on the little "island" in the middle of the Lifeless Strand area can have the Gillie Boots. A treasure in the middle of the northern area of the Slumbermead may have the Nishijin Belt. This treasure is good for farming because it spawns 80% of the time, and has only 15% chance to contain gil. The southernmost treasure in the Echoes of the Past area can have an Elixir, which is a rare occurrence of an Elixir treasure without the need to equip the Diamond Armlet. In the southwest corner of Vale of Lingering Sorrow a random treasure may contain the Golden Amulet. With the Diamond Armlet equipped, the common item treasure is Knot of Rust, and the rare item treasure is X-Potion. In the original version, the most common item treasure in the area is some type of Fang.
